A few of the first “almost” holiday dresses

[ad_1]
For a recent holiday shoot (shot at the beginning of October) I struggled to find anything that read “Christmas” but I found “closer than Redim / or even a little higher than my usual Denim / or Denim / Scarf vide”. holiday over a cocktail dress, but some of these feel more fitted and easy to throw on.
Wear | Shoes
This dress is viral on purpose – it has nice wide sleeves, a PIN TUCK around the waist, and pockets -ie, it’s fun and easy to wear. Plaid is what got me – so festive and fun (and definitely wearable for many seasons).

Wear | Shoes
This dress comes in many different colors and patterns (and fabrics) because it is so popular. If I were to go to church (well, a church where you dress up), I would definitely wear it. I even wore it with a chambray shirt tied around my waist and ballet flats or a samba snaker just for the look. Very easy to wear.

Sweat | Jeans | Belt | Boots
This Illy sweater is nice and sturdy and on the Spurgier side (God, everything feels so expensive right now), it’s soft, easy to wear, and can go “on vacation”). But in good news, when we checked yesterday, we are sold! I love it because it’s classic and neutral (I love Christmas sweats, TBH, but I only really wear bright red for six weeks, so I love that this lasts a long time). The jean is a bellabanzi leg from a pretty dang amazing quince (for $50!!!). I looked down at the floor. Vince Camuto boots for anyone looking for a western vibe.

Blouse | Pants | Shoes
One of the most popular popular pants that comes in soooo many different colors / styles – the colette (from Anthro). But the ruffles are so cute (and flow/drape in a fun way). I joked that it’s on your Ankle which was really fun – It really dances and hits your ankles when you walk (not my experience, but I was happy). The shirt is from old navy and a great menslear short/boxy look that I wear a lot. Can’t stop wearing those mesh leopard ballet flats (DOLCE Vita shoes are really comfortable).

Sweatshirt | A skirt
This was such a fun skirt to wear that would be great for fall/harvest/thanksgiving or Christmas. I paired it with this sweatshirt from sweatshirt (it’s really good – shoulders, great color), but it can also look good with a t-shirt or 1/2 knit). Of course, you can wear it too, but it’s not my vibe.
Sweatshirt vs sweater

Cardigan | Skirt | Shoes (similar)
Here I’m wearing it with a burgundy cardigan, and I love it, but it felt a little too much for my style (too little and fit). I loved dressing it down with a casual sweatshirt above (but I wish I had worn necklaces or a scarf). Lots of fabric and lined really well (and has pockets!).

Blouse | Skirt | Belt | Shoes
This skirt really surprised me – Floral Dorduroy, a pencil with enough stretch to be comfortable but very flattering. It’s bold, sure, but the flowers are in such a beautiful color palette. I paired it with a Frank & Eleen Denim Top (very thin, very easy to pull on and layer, and yes, splurgy, but I’ve had it 4 times and have it all the time).

Finally, the satin pjs that everyone wants (that I wore in the little read below). If you’ve been following my pajama journey (lol), you might know that I love a thinner soft fabric over a satin-y feel (just in case you want something selected, this is great. My current favorites are from Gap, but I also love J.Ccrew (both feel “not there” while they’re neutral on my legs, no cutouts, and they still come down a lot). I brought this back not because it wasn’t good, but to be honest so much for my matching sets.

Happy holiday shopping, everyone. xx
