Happy Sunday, everyone! We think it’s fair to say that this was a big week for Jess with her living room and bedroom reveals, as well as celebrating 9 years at EHD. If you missed those rooms, definitely go check them out. Other than that, the PDX team had a very exciting shoot, and everyone is gearing up for a big November. Let’s get to the clothes.

This week’s house tour is a pink lover’s dream! The designer Claudia Lambert, created a postmodern, modern family home drawn with wonderful and varied shades of the hue she loves. Check it out!

From Emily: Hello Fork Ports! While I’m in the middle of my PR Crusade to make sure the whole world knows you’re not a warzone, I also want to highlight two local second hand stores that I donate to (and they’re awesome). I’m selling all my fancier clothes for couture in the lovely village of raiders, and earlier this week I gave up a lot. Seriously, like 6 bags with a lot of good things to wear (ulla Johnson, the Great, Sezane, and Nwt Madewell). I usually try to close my eyes when I go in because they have such good things. However, if you live here, look for a couture offering of gently used clothing (and get lunch at Yalla, and don’t forget to stop by the Form & Funct Block Away!

For everything else (including many children’s beautiful clothes) I offer Steezenpantz, which is the best store in Hillsdale (by Christosphere) caused by Christosphere “in hundreds called Christosphere” in hundreds). Anyway, I used to donate likes, etc, but I love supporting his business, which has a huge cult following in Portland (and a lot of new people coming up there).

From Marlee: Last week, I was sharing with you the essentials for making the transition to winter carry…and somehow I forgot the most important thing of all. You may have heard or read things online about the hatch alarm clock and wondered, what’s the big deal?? I’m here to tell you: everything. Here, let me paint a picture for you in my own way Pre-Hatch: Get ready for bed, Doomscroll, sleep with light, turn off the light, can’t go back to the white noise playlist, go to sleep, get Jolited Fluttering with white noise disease …. Then the alarm goes off in the morning, snore 4 times, hard to wake up because it’s so dark in my room, I wonder why I’m the one … I’m worried?

Ok, you get the idea… here is my process for me pillarHatchera: Get ready to sleep, touch the top of my hatch – a nice red light comes on, so I turn on my lights, spend a little time on the phone or read for 30 minutes, where the red noise comes. Sometimes it’s a fast river, sometimes a brown noise, sometimes a fan fan fan of a classic box … Hello Options. After 10 minutes, the white noise volume increases, and that is my signal to hang up. Good night! In the morning, 30 minutes before I want to get up, a beautiful blue light appears … and then a yellow light, maybe lit in yellow … And I’m in a good mood, a change! (All that; sounds, timings, colors are all automatic in the app)

Some of you may find this unnecessary, which is fine, it goes along with your healthy sleeping habits (I don’t envy you) I actually got this as a Christmas gift from my parents a few years ago, and God I wish I had gotten this when I was a teenager (gift idea!!). When I got mine, it was only $100, and they’ve raised the price, but they’re also making a new, more designed version. I think it’s something you really use *every day.

From Gretchen: Rearranging some furniture this weekend, I was reminded how much I love having these furniture loaders on hand! When that “style / play / every day” itch hits, especially if it stays alone, these slides make it easy to go with your big pieces without damage without damage. We used them a few weeks ago at EM’s House when we were redoing the living room, replacing the walnut millecent cent blue cabinet piece, and it took us all of five minutes with these slides! Also, these are great because they work on hardwood or carpet and are by far the most durable.

From Caitlin: I did it, guys: I’m full of it. (I mean, how could I not, after reading Arelyn’s ode to joyous adornment?) I’m talking, of course, about my new Corellini knots. I had no idea that ceramic pasta could bring you this much responsibility! To me, they are the perfect blend of form and function – subtle and rounded from a distance, but lovely and cheerful when viewed up close. Each knob was hand-set by kolos ceramics, a Seattle-based ceramicist, and I’m so excited to support her small business. If you’re thinking of a big gift, I might suggest his $30 pasta spoon, his $11 pins (Could a blueberry be a Lapel Pin?), or a Pitterleball Espresso Cup? Join me on the whimsy side!!! We are having fun here!!!

From mallory: this $50 denim jacket has been a constant turn on for me lately, and I couldn’t love it more. It’s lightweight but lightweight enough to layer if needed, and has solid software. Also, I love the leather collar detail!! The Barn Jacket by Barn Thic also totally reminds me of the one Em wore in her Barn Jacket post but a little, but a little less.

And from mallory: Okay, here’s something really important for your Sunday… I went into anthro over the weekend and broke down when I saw this sweat. It’s a dog wearing a cowboy hat!!! And boots! I’m confused about it.

Also from Mallory: I went to an open house job last week, and it was amazing. In case you haven’t heard of it, Gell hosts an annual house tour event in LA, where you can tour some amazing homes. We went with the famous Hollyhock house to start, then went on to other places, all of which were incredibly inspiring. Lots of home owners and builders were there too, and it was great to be able to talk to them. It really is one of the best days – we will do this every year!!

From Arlyn: maybe it’s the fact that my teenage years were during the undeniable days of the graphic t-shirt renaissance, but I love a fruity little hat. So when I saw this “late run” for my favorite fall color, I was disappointed almost immediately. Oh, did I mention it’s on sale and under $15?! This “silly goose” Someone was against a strong competition, and, but in the end, I decided that I don’t need to be known as a mother who always wants to make fun of her class in her School. One was enough … for now.

From Jess: I didn’t know I knew that almost exclusively, matte eye makeup. I’ve had this big tarrick pump for a few years now, but I didn’t use enough colors, some broke, and as a little gal makeup, it was too big to carry around. Oh, and my favorite everyday color is running out. So when I was at Sephora, I picked up this beautiful makeup by Mario Matte Palette. They’re all warm neutrals, a nice medium size, and I know I’ll use most, if not all, of these colors. I have a few other products by her and love them! In conclusion, both palettes are terrible (I just came up with nothing with this one!), but I’m so excited to get into this new one.

Thanks for a great week in this little design nook, and see y’all tomorrow for the big show!
