Happy Sunday, everyone. As you may have noticed, whether it’s gift guides or our Christmas decorating lead on Friday, we’re really getting into the holiday spirit. And you bet shoots have happened, so be ready for them. OK links? Good.

This week’s house tour is a cool, modern, interesting house! Lots of interesting choices you just got OT looking good 🙂

From Emily: The ideal time for the Isle sweater is the season (closer to the holiday sweater, and a great place to get more from time to time). I bought this one, it’s warm, soft, and the color is great. I paired it with a mini skirt and long boots to wear, and then with house sweats. It sounds very good and much higher than the price tag.

From Arlyn: Is it just me, or is the quality of, uh, everything, getting worse and worse? I used to buy my baby’s wardrobe from Stone, I got that price, but I moved to Ald Navy and Carter’s, and the quality is just ok for most things (especially t-shirts… Meh). But I ordered some cold weather essentials recently from this brand called Elementary, and I was blown away by the quality. Of course, it is very expensive, so there should be clothes that have been worn for a long time, but right now they have 40% off site-wide cyber-wide cyber-wide cyber-winder cyber, and now is the time to grab all the things. I especially love their joggers, puffer, Zippie Hoodie, and long-sleee Tees. Honestly, I wanted it all because it was soft and well made!

From Jess: Cool, Little Wrand Alert! So I found this Streetwear Clothing Brand called Stualture Studio, and I immediately loved the way it felt. The color palette is muted, the shapes are cool and finished, and everything is pretty unisex. I signed up for SMS texts so I got a sneak peek at their new drop, and I’m so excited for you. I bought these track sweatpants and maybe I’ve never felt cooler? lol. I might come down because they’re overdone unless you want that look. I think something from this brand would be such a great gift for someone in your life like this or someone who likes to cover it (like me :)). Plus, you’ll look a lot cooler knowing about them. The color I got is pretty sold out, but I loved this one too.

From Catilin: If you’ve been reading the blog for any length of time, you know that she has to run an organization that is near and dear to my heart. It is a national and international caucus that helps women run for everything from the local school board to the Senate. If you felt frustrated last year about the direction of our country, please consider looking into your local 12th week leader! They are currently forming cohorts in 2026; You’ll leave with a cool plan to help solve a problem in your community (plus, it’s a cheap way to decide if politics is right for you!). We need more women at all levels of government – and that means just Feminine types, so please don’t get them! You are worth more than you know, and you have the power to make your community better. I will gladly lend my support to any of your campaigns 🙂

Also from Caitlin: Really enjoyed this outfit from Marion Mahony Griffin! He was one of the first licensed book designers in America (the first in Illinois!) and Frank Lloyd Wright First. I’ve been obsessed with wright since fourth grade (when I did a report on fresh water, and wore it to my class – yes, I was a bit of a weirdo), but I wasn’t familiar with Griffin’s implications for all of Griffin’s properties! This is a fun, easy read about a cool lady – check it out.

From Mallory: Guys! Our good friend Ajai has launched a new home decor brand called Cadbury Home !! You guys should check out her lovely tea towels – I love these with the little ruffles. Be sure to follow her new product on Instagram here! (Huh, these would make a great holiday gift).

From Marlee: This week, I received the following text in a group chat: “What is your unique go-to winter shoe. Aka What is the Flip of Winter?” It didn’t take an argument for everyone to agree that the winter Flip-flop is the Clogi of the garden – they are slim and go, they work with basically any outfit, and they can be worn. Obviously, they’re not ideal for snowy conditions*, or heavy rain, but if you’re out on the town and getting wet, they do a great job of keeping your feet dry. As a Clog Gal myself, I have 2 pairs that I love, and 2 pairs that I will recommend to all my gardening friends – the ones that don’t have them because 2 pairs are more than 2 pairs of clogs for the garden … or don’t need). My dearest couple is this couple of this couple – they are a nice low profile, with a little height (not good for the tricky world, I will say! You can tell !!) and, very nice. I have them in black, but have been eyeing the oxblood color for a while. My almost unique pair is a super-birki by birkenstock in a beautiful powder blue color that seems to be cut off. I have had these for at least 4 years at this point, and they are in great shape. I get a ton of compliments on these, and my favorite way to wear them is with a neutral outfit, with my shoes acting as my pop of color. They’re super comfortable and great for long days on your feet (nurses and food service workers love them, I heard!). Okay, quick fire of things my friends: These hemp based structures, which are still very slippery but seem to be much safer for your feet than some of the other details. And Ugg Tasman Clogs (also available in this color at Nordstrom Rack!). This comes with a matching sock that you can remove from the shoe – this is definitely a good look but in the best way!!!! They are very sweet. Whether you’re a dirty person or not – if you’re on the fence, try some!

From Gretchen: This week, I misbehaved something funny, maybe even embarrassing, but it was a lot of fun for me, so I think it’s worth it. One of my favorite movies ever, since I was a kid, The world of spices. There was something in the air that I was dying for a rewatch, but unfortunately, it’s one of those select few movies available on any streaming platform. If you’re familiar with this cinematic masterpiece and adore it as much as I do, congratulations! She is one of the chosen girl power! If you’ve seen this movie and are rolling your eyes right now at the thought of it, I forgive you. And if you have to be introduced and want to know more, here’s what you’ll need to watch it yourself: Buy a physical DVD copy of the movie and buy a (and you don’t know it) DVD Player. I did and I couldn’t be happier. Of course, it is more expensive than buying / downloading the movie (if you even have that option). But there’s something about seeing this “old school” player in my home, knowing it’s loaded with my favorite movie, ready to play anytime, that makes me giddy. The world has been feeling very heavy, and this was a silly, (relatively) small purchase to bring some light into my home. The player is not a favorite. Less is more so it’s not a waste. It works as intended. But being able to watch this movie, whenever I feel the need, is a luxury! That’s my version of a kid I’d spend my money on, that’s for sure.

Thanks for spending time with us today, and see Y’All tomorrow with another great thing.) Xx
